Alie Woodward, MA

(she/her)

Alie specializes in working with adolescents, adults, and families; individually, and in a group setting. Alie’s specialties include trauma-informed treatment for substance misuse, anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, anger, trauma, and family relational problems; and treatment for those who have experienced physical, sexual, and emotional abuse. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Psychoeducational approaches to support treatment. Alie is also well versed in crisis intervention and supportive counseling for those who have experienced an emotional crisis and is trained in offering Anger Replacement Training. She has experience serving as a supervisor and clinician of mental health treatment in outpatient settings, and was on the Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling Program Advisory Committee in Erie, Pennsylvania from 2017-2019. Alie is also trained as a Heart of a Leader through Brandon W. Johnson’s Global Leadership training Program.

Alie earned a dual Master of Arts degrees in Clinical Rehabilitation and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and completed her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Mount Union in Human Development and Family Science. Alie is currently working towards professional licensure in the state of Pennsylvania.
